Wheel repair lathe is a special machine tool used for processing and repairing railway locomotive wheel sets.
Operation method of wheel repair lathe:
1. The operator is allowed to operate after passing the examination and obtains the operation certificate. The operator should be familiar with the performance and structure of the machine, and abide by the safety and shift system.
2. Before work, the oil should be filled in strict accordance with the lubrication regulations, and the oil should be kept proper, the oil path is unobstructed, the oil mark (window) is eye-catching, and the oil cup, oil city, and linoleum are clean.
3. Check whether each part is in good condition, and then run it for about 10 minutes. After confirming that each part is operating normally, start working again. If abnormal operation, abnormal noise and excessive temperature rise are found during work, stop and eliminate it.
4. The clamping of the tool should be tightened correctly, the protruding part should not be too long, the gasket should be straight and the same size, generally no more than two pieces. Cutting with blunt tools is prohibited.
5. Before hoisting the wheel set, clean the top and the hole. When loading and unloading, choose the equipment and methods reasonably. Pay attention to the smooth rise and fall to prevent the workpiece and the hook from colliding, hitting, or smashing the lathe. Adjust the diameter of the axle support, put the wheel set product on the wheel support, make the center line of the wheel set slightly lower than the center line of the center by 2~3mm, and start the tailstock to tighten the workpiece.
6. Adjust the position of the crank pin until the crank pin coincides with the center of the main shaft. When the crank pin of the fine turning and the inner hole of the fine crank pin, the sliding plate should be pressed tightly, and the head box should be locked when the headstock is motorized. The slide board feed handle prevents the slide board from taper in radial motion.
7. When the lathe is running, it is not allowed to change the spindle speed and motor feed speed.
8. When hydraulic workpieces are used, two rollers should be used for rolling at the same time, and single rolling is not allowed.
9. Do not place any tool clamps and sundries on the lathe, and the tool clamps should be placed on the tool box and tool tray. Do not knock on the lathe to straighten the workpiece and tool.
10. When the cutting tool has not separated from the workpiece, it must not stop.
11. The operator is not allowed to leave the lathe while it is running. If you need to leave, you must stop and pull it away. When the power switch is turned on again, you must first carefully check the position of the handles, and the workpieces are not abnormal or loose before driving.
12. After work, the equipment must be inspected and cleaned, daily maintenance work must be done, and the control handles (switches) must be placed in neutral (zero position), and the power switch must be opened to achieve neatness, cleanliness, lubrication and safety.
